Celebrating Oktoberfest at Snowbird

Ready for one of the largest festivals in Utah? Voted one of America’s 10 best Oktoberfest’s by Men’s Journal Magazine, Snowbird’s Oktoberfest Celebration attracts over 60,000 locals and visitors per year, every Saturday and Sunday for eight weeks from mid-August through early October.

Step foot into the biergarten that offers more than 50 varieties of beer. This selection includes both German beers and brews made by Utah breweries, such as Moab Brewery, Bohemian, Uinta and Squatters. So what goes well with a cold crisp refreshing beer? Food. From the German delicacies to snowbird’s dining, the food possibilities are endless and extremely mouthwatering. If you’re an Oktoberfest veteran, you already know the fun doesn’t stop at the food and drinks. With face painting, caricature drawing, activity centers, live music and other entertainment there is fun for the whole entire family.

Get yourself and your kids all day passes to the activity center which gives you unlimited access to the Aerial Tram, Peruvian Chairlift and Tunnel, Alpine Slide, Mountain Flyer, Mountain Coaster, Vertical Drop, climbing wall, bungee trampoline and ropes courses. At 3:15, take the Arial Tram up to the top of Hidden Peak to enjoy the famous alphorns.
