Utah’s Best Summer Festivals for Multicultural Fun

June kicks off summer as well as festival season in Utah. In addition to art festivals, parades and food-themed festivals, there are several festivals happening in Utah this summer that honor international and multicultural heritages. Whether celebrating your own past or looking to learn more about others, here are a few of this summer’s most anticipated festivals.

June 12-13: Utah Scottish Festival & Highland Games: Celebrate Scotland’s rich heritage and participate in traditional Highland athletic challenges, such as the famous Caber Toss challenge where athletes attempt to chuck an 80-plus pound tree section, participate in Highland dancing accompanied by bag pipes and drums, sample Scottish food and enjoy music from the Wicked Tinkers, Molly’s Revenge and Men of Worth.
