Earlier this month, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage welcomed Tom Ferry, one of the leading real estate coaches in the country, to speak to the Utah REALTOR® community. Ferry, the CEO of international coaching and training company, Tom Ferry – Your Coach, is named the “#1 Real Estate Educator” by Swanepoel Power 200 and is a best-selling author.
During the coaching session, which also featured a breakfast and book signing, Ferry shared insights and best practices that he has learned over the last 20 years in real estate.
And attendees were on the edge of their seats.
Although the event was hosted by Coldwell Banker, it was open to all real estate professionals in the Salt Lake area. In all, over 300 people attended to hear Ferry discuss what key skills differentiate “the Rich and the Rest,” those who make it big in real estate and those who don’t.
The morning started with a breakfast buffet sponsored by Axiom Financial and the first 200 people in the door received a free copy of Ferry’s book, Life! by Design: 6 Steps to an Extraordinary You. The line was out the door as attendees waited to have their book signed.
There was a major focus on the latest trends in lead generation, marketing, and conversion. “If you don’t have a database, you don’t have a business,” said Ferry. Other takeaways from the session included how to organize a database, how to utilize Facebook custom audiences, direct mail tips, and most importantly, always having a mindset for success. The program concluded with a question posed to all the attendees, “What three actions will you take?”
