Jazz Up Your Home: Stylish Basketball Courts

As October approaches its end, this means one thing for basketball lovers all around…the start of the NBA Season! The Utah Jazz tipped off their season against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday and now we’ll have a little competition of our own.

Let’s take a look at this year’s “players,” all competing to earn the title of “Most Stylish Home Basketball Court.” Which home court deserves the notoriously coveted MVP trophy? We have a few rankings in mind, but we’ll let you decide for yourself.

1. Most Improved Player

Don’t let the title of “Most Improved” fool you. This gorgeous indoor space surely deserves a chance at the MVP title. Converted from an old barn, the high ceilings and delicate lighting offer an ideal playing environment for a little one-on-one. Moreover, the contrast between the deep brown beams and the cream colored ceilings make for a bold and inspiring play.

2. Most Favored MVP

We think this modern indoor basketball court is the equivalent of Utah Jazz’s new small forward Gordon Hayward—confident, bold and determined. With thick clean lines and understated colors, this playing court has it all. The vibrant red nearly jumps off the page, making this court a slam-dunk in our opinion.

3. Best Team Player

Modern, edgy and visionary are a few words that come to mind when looking at this breathtaking home court. Nestled between a natural background of luscious greens and a sleek, innovative work of architecture, this court calls the shots. With the perfect interplay between architecture and nature, we certainly think this court has a good chance of earning a spot in the MVP running.

4. Hardest Working Player

There’s no question about it, this court is as intimidating as the frontcourt presence of Utah Jazz players Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter. This court boasts an indoor rock-climbing wall, water fountain, and weight lifting area, and if that doesn’t pull you off the bench, there’s even a cardio room upstairs! The solid architecture of bricks and rock, as well as the amenities, provide this indoor home court with a strong chance at earning the glorified title of MVP.
