Can you believe it’s already the second full week of August and we are trying to plan our adventures for the last few summer weekends that we have left?
Well, I’m here to tell you that there are still many events to attend and fun to be had.
I’m gearing up for the Kiss Me Dirty Mud Run on August 16 at the Salt Lake County Equestrian Park. This is an amazing skills course that includes mud (obviously!), plus obstacles, color and foam. It’s for girls only fellas…well, that’s not exactly true. It’s for MOSTLY girls, but there are a limited number of registrations set aside for the ever-popular Drag Race. This is for the dudes that are secure enough in their manhood to don wigs, undergarments and plenty of pink tutus and take on all the beautiful ladies.
And it’s all for charity! Proceeds from this hilarious event go to the Huntsman Cancer Institute that fights gynecological cancers.
And there is so much more to do! Check out some of these other upcoming events:
- Beau Jest @ Hale Theatre in Orem | Aug. 15 – Sept. 20
- Escape Ogden Run | Aug. 16
- Oktoberfest at Snowbird | Aug. 16 – Oct. 12, Every Saturday – Sunday
- Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship | Aug. 23
- Animals Inside Out Exhibit | Through Sept. 1
