It’s hard to keep track of all the good news about Utah. The state continuously tops multiple lists and there’s no denying it – Utah is a great place to live and work. Just look at some of the recent accolades:

Now it’s time to put another feather in our cap: Utah ranked fifth on MoneyRates.com annual list of the Top 10 Best States to Make a Living – even moving up three spots from an eighth place ranking in 2013.
What makes Utah such a great place to make a living? MoneyRates acknowledged that the cost of living and unemployment in the state is very low and workplace conditions are above average.
The most recent jobs report, released June 20, confirms this, in which Utah’s unemployment fell to 3.6{b0691beea1c2f39bd1c58efe4ba0816740a602e2685bc83cc0a70ecfa3fcdf10}, the lowest level in over five years and well below the national unemployment rate of 6.3{b0691beea1c2f39bd1c58efe4ba0816740a602e2685bc83cc0a70ecfa3fcdf10}. Moreover, all 10 industry sectors that figure into the numbers released by the Utah Department of Workforce Services showed year-over-year employment increases.
Utah’s economy continues to lead the nation. Just one more reason to love where we live.
