Neighborhood Spotlight – Lehi

I just got back from a day spent on my favorite hobby…shopping!! The Traverse Mountain Outlets located in Lehi was my chosen territory, and a birthday present for my 1-year-old nephew was my objective. I began with lunch at Bona Vita Italian Bistro and then I spent the rest of the beautiful May afternoon perusing stores like The Children’s Place, J. Crew and Ralph Lauren.

After deciding on a perfectly nautical striped hooded sweater from Tommy Hilfiger, I took a look around. I don’t get to Lehi very often but I realized there was a lot to do here. Walking the gardens or taking in the amazing exhibits at the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point; fun with the kids at Corn Belly’s Corn Maze or Seven Peaks Water Park; or just hanging out at North Lake Park on the north shores of Utah Lake.

This little sleepy town, nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Wasatch Mountains, has seen a lot of growth over the last 20 years and it’s really worth a visit.

I think I’m going to plan another day here. Maybe the hubby will come too. Cabella’s, the outdoor retailer, is located in Lehi too! But, we’ll start with the Traverse Mountain Outlets…Mama needs a new pair of shoes!
