What makes a home extraordinary? An indoor slide? A private pond? An outdoor playground with a trampoline and tree house?

Yes. But what makes The Lodge on Hobble Creek truly extraordinary is the unique human slingshot as featured on The Travel Channel, Nitro Circus, CNN and Mountain Dew’s #DewRoadTrip.

Nestled in the heart of Hobble Creek Canyon’s Left Hand Fork, just 20 minutes from Wasatch Front, The Lodge on Hobble Creek is a family retreat unlike any other.

A private road leads you past stunning grounds to the main house, an approximate 6,000 square foot home exuding relaxation, sophistication and luxury – with an ample dose of fun.

The retreat’s grand scale living is evident from the moment you enter the home and are greeted with a commanding great room featuring vaulted ceilings, expansive windows and a lofted game room. Every piece, from the mantle, to the bookcase, to the reclaimed pot rack and headboard in the master bedroom were custom built or reclaimed and are unique to the home.  Additionally, lighting throughout the house was hand-forged and was made specifically to fit the space.

Designed for both intimate gatherings and grand parties, the great room is both elegant and comfortable. An open concept chef’s kitchen offers custom cabinetry, granite counters, professional stainless steel appliances, three ovens, a walk-in fridge and freezer, an oversized center island and a separate Butler’s pantry. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining area that seats 18 comfortably, set against a glass wall framing the gorgeous canyon scenery. A living area with an impressive two-story stone fireplace and a staircase leading to a lofted playroom completes the majestic space. Just outside, a spacious deck with a barbeque and built-in serving area allows for outdoor entertaining.

The striking home boasts 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The master bedroom includes a spa-like ensuite bath with a walk-in shower and soaking tub. The lofted area above the great room is the perfect escape complete with a slide for a playful way to travel between levels.

Preserved today through conservative development standards, The Lodge is located on approximately 50-acres and allows for year-round enjoyment. Winter sports enthusiasts enjoy miles of quiet pristine cross country ski trails, world-class snowmobiling, as well as snowshoeing and sleigh riding. When the snow melts, the Lodge offers miles of biking and ATV options, forested foot trails, a babbling creek, a catch and release trout pond, a playground and campground and plenty of room for horses. Just down the road is Hobble Creek Golf Course, one of Utah’s most popular and highest-rated golf courses. Built in Hobble Creek Canyon, the public course is known for its water features and mountain scenery.
